Comfy shoes
The shoes fit true to size. Have worn them twice and they feel great!
Savage 1
I really wanted to like these…but the tongue on these shoes is just not right. It’s made from some kind of plastic and feels really weird when you put them on. Other reviewers said the same thing, but I didn’t think it would matter much. I couldn’t get past it. Hopefully, the Savage 2 will change that part and I’ll give them another go. True to size and frankly, a very good one. Just one very notable exception.
Fit
The Savage 1 was sent back for credit because the cushioning was minimal and the fit rubbed my ankles. I later ordered the Inov 8 F-Lite which was a lot for my needs. The customer service of Box Basics was excellent and easy to do business with.
Great for wide foot lifters
Compared a lot of “wide” shoes in the category and liked these due to a wide foot box, low profile midsole, yet still felt locked in with stability side to side and when lifting. To the is a little stiff at first though.
